The first ARVR Africa lab outside Nigeria, opened in December 2022 at African Leadership University.

The third lab outside Nigeria, opened on 10 September 2024 within UCAD’s CURI centre, hosted by Professor Idrissa Sarr. The launch included hands-on workshops.

Community chapters
Enugu, Nigeria · Launched 31 Jan 2026
Launched at Beaconsmith House with the chapter’s first monthly meetup, facilitated by Ortega Alikwe. Imisi 3D joined virtually, and attendees got hands on with Meta Quest 2 headsets and SwiftXR. Meetups run monthly.
